Mission:

To guarantee safety programs and services that will provide the highest level of safety to tourists and others, and to support legislation and funding that will encourage growth and development of the port.

 
Issues:

Port development, surveillance and industrial modification; to advocate water borne safety projects, landside development, and further enhance harbor patrols, security systems, protection and development with regard to movement of people between airport and seaport.

•  Further the stop security checkpoints between passengers, airports, and cruise lines.
•  Develop a method for passengers to transfer between the airport and seaport with secure but minimal checkpoints.
•  Ensure biohazard training for fire fighters, police officers, and other personnel.
•  Create enhancements that will draw businesses to a secure and safe port.
