Mission:
To enlist support of the governor, cabinet and legislature to align public policy and law which encourages promotion of a Green economy for Florida starting with Broward County.

Issues:

Private/Public Partnership

Encourage innovative ways for stimulating private sector investment in renewable fuel development, production, and implementation including promoting interest of venture capital groups in Florida-based efforts and creative use of state funds.
Foster the implementation of private/public partnerships that promote the use of renewable/alternative fuels. This would include but not be limited to the School Board of Broward County, Florida Power & Light and the Department of Transportation.

Education & Outreach

Develop programs for the class room to introduce these concepts to the next generation of students to study. 
Support implementation of outreach and awareness programs that promote public and private sectors use of renewable/alternative fuels.

Environmental Stewardship

Foster an environment for consumer based support of renewable energies including development of Florida-based markets for trading renewable energy certificates, feed in tariffs and carbon offset trading.

Encourage residential and commercial energy conservation.
