Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce
Established in 1910, the GFLCC is the oldest and largest business organization in Broward County. As our County has grown the GFLCC has become the umbrella organization for various geographically based business groups such as the Downtown Council, the Uptown Council, the Weston Business Council, the Beach Council and also the Women’s Council, with a total membership of over 1800. The main three goals of the GFLCC are to be:
The Place to Do Business: providing great social and networking events every week of the year, trade shows and tabletop expos, opportunities to sponsor Chamber events and advertise on our website and publications and to participate in several cost-saving programs.
Building Broward Business: by partnering with the many economic development agencies, tourism boards and other organizations to improve the scope and depth of our business community, encouraging new industries and companies to relocate to Broward and to work with government agencies to promote our great community regionally as a viable and important international business destination.
The Voice of Business: by supporting organizations like Broward Days and advocating at the local, state and federal levels of government either by bringing elected officials to Chamber events to address particular issues or by participating in debates and other forums to improve the business and social community of our region.
