Broward Days
Now in its 13th year since incorporation, with over a 20 year history of advocacy, Broward Days is an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan group of people advocating for diverse needs and concerns of Broward County, Florida. Providing another venue for the citizenry, it focuses on the state legislature, conducts three receptions and three workshops (Appropriations, Sunshine Law, and Advocacy) in Broward County, publishes a magazine distributed throughout Tallahassee and Broward,and coordinates an annual two-day state legislative issues forum in the state capitol at Tallahassee, Florida. Broward Days is one of the largest, most diverse and focused organizations of its kind, with over 600 actively involved participants and sponsors serving as a voice for concerns of Broward County.

Issues Teams
The primary force for Broward Days effectiveness is the work of legislative issues teams which meet throughout the year and formulate issues position papers distributed throughout Tallahassee. Issues teams are established by the Chair and Executive Director, based upon evidenced interest by those who volunteer to lead a team. They are comprised of a wide range of influential people of Broward County, activists who strongly desire to educate and be educated regarding issues of concern.  It is impressive to be part of a large group effort affecting legislators, government agencies and staff.  It essentially says, “The Broward community cares and deserves your attention.”

Sponsorship 
Sponsors for Broward Days play a strong leadership role in shaping the future of Broward County, and help defray the costs of our program to make membership participation affordable. At the same time, sponsors gain regional and statewide exposure and access to the state legislature and processes.
